Treat Yourself this December with Curated Tour of Ireland
Have you just started on your Irish genealogy or have you been researching for some while? The upcoming small group tour led by founder of The Genealogy Event, Bridget Bray might just be the perfect way to twin your interest in Ireland with your family history!
The Festive Re(Treat), taking place December 5th - 10th is a highly curated and custom experience which will have have food, history and heritage across the five days. Imagine being immersed in the beautiful Irish landscape while connecting with local producers, experiencing Irish cuisine, market visits, private tours, an absolute must with an inclusion of an afternoon tea experience plus some dashes of history with time for some rest and relaxation.
The southwest of Ireland (Limerick, Clare, Tipperary) will form part of the largest focus throughout this retreat however will include a stop into Dublin as well. Some of the highlights include:
Beginning the welcome experience over a lovely afternoon tea in the drawing room;
Staying and relaxing in a Georgian period boutique hotel located directly across from a beautiful park;
Dining at historic sites such as a centuries’ old castle and country estates offering a breathtaking landscapes;
Savoring tastes from Ireland’s food and drink scene such as artisanal chocolate, coffees, cheese;
Delighting in the festive atmosphere across Ireland including stopping into Christmas and craft markets;
Exploring hidden gems across the Irish countryside;
